Google's Folding Phone, Called Pixel Notepad and Cheaper?

A number of smartphone vendors, such as Samsung, Oppo, and Xiaomi have launched their own folding phones. Google is also widely rumored to want to make their own version of a folding phone which is said to be called the Pixel Fold. However, the name of the device is supposedly not that, but the Pixel Notepad. Apart from its name, various reports also claim that the Pixel Notepad will be priced at the cheapest price of around 1,400 US dollars or around Rp. 20 million. If accurate, this price will be cheaper than its competitors, namely the Galaxy Z Fold3 whose launch price reaches 1,800 US dollars or around Rp. 25 million. In appearance, the Pixel Notepad itself is said to be carrying a design with a height and width that resembles the Oppo Find N, instead of like the Galaxy Z Fold3.

Then on the hardware aspect, the folding phone is rumored to be powered by Google's own chipset that also provides the Google Pixel 6 Series, namely Google Tensor. For the camera sector, Pixel Notepad is allegedly going to be equipped with two rear cameras consisting of a 12.2 MP main camera (Sony IMX363) and a 12 MP ultrawide camera (Sony IMX386). Then for selfie activities, the phone is rumored to be relying on two selfie cameras, each with a resolution of 8 MP. The two selfie cameras are said to be loaded on the main screen that users will see when the phone is stretched out, as well as on a secondary screen that can be used when the phone is folded.

It is not known whether these rumors are accurate or not. Because, Google has not provided the latest news regarding the existence of their own foldable cellphone. Moreover, the name is also not necessarily Pixel Notepad. We'll just wait.
